Why “no room for mistakes” is the shittiest advice I’ve ever heard

We all know that kids learn fastest by making mistakes. They fall, learn how to get up and play on. What nobody tells us though is that as adults we learn just as well by making mistakes. It’s not an ability that vanishes when we grow up — NO, it’s the evolution of humans. We always have learned fastest by stepping into wrong directions, realising that it’s not the best idea to swim in a crocodile river and choose a new path.
