What does being present even mean?

Engaging with your senses. 
Seeing the depth of green of the grass in front of you.
Admiring the wisdom of the trees and watching them wave at you.
Smiling while the birds and bees and butterflies dance their dances.
Listening to the story the flowing river is telling to nobody in particular.
Feeling the prickle of the sun and the breeze on your skin.
Tasting the softness of life on your lips.
Concentrating on your heart beat and surrendering to the overwhelming gratitude.
Connecting to the rhythm of the world.
Singing.

Singing?
Your voice glides into harmony with the vibration of the universe.
Dancing.
Creating movement through the vibration of the universe inside you.
Laughing.
Not resisting the explosion of happiness inside.

Stillness and peace that these observations brought you.
That is being present.
